INGREDIENTS EXPLAINED …
All the ingredients we use are listed below. We believe it is important to let our customers know exactly what we have put in each of our products. Whilst not all ingredients listed are used in every product we highly recommend that you read the ingredients especially if you are someone who suffers from sensitivities and allergies.
CBD Isolate
CBD (cannabidiol) is an active substance found in hemp oil, which is extracted from the leaves and flowers of the plant. Third party lab test results can be found by clicking the link in the footer of each page. Find out more about CBD in our About Us section of this website.
Sodium Bicarbonate
is a white powder used in a wide range of industries from pharmaceutical to drinks and many others in between. It is commonly known as baking soda.
Citric Acid
sounds scary but it’s actually a very mild ingredient found in many food products, shampoos and cleansers. It is derived from citrus fruit.
Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate (SLSa)
is a natural ingredient derived from coconut and palm oil and is used as a gentle foaming agent. SLSa is a safe, skin friendly cleanser that offers rich lather without the irritation potential of some of the other synthetic foaming agents
Kaolin Clay
is one of the most common cosmetic clay used in bath bombs, cold process soap, and masks. This clay can be used on normal, dry and sensitive skin because it does not draw oils from the skin. It is also a very mild clay that works as a hardening agent.
Polysorbate 80
is an amber/golden thick sticky liquid derived from a vegetable source. It is regarded as a safe chemical used in many skincare and beauty products. It’s main purpose is to help combine the liquid based ingredients in our products when they come into contact with water so they disperse evenly in the bath.
Jojoba Oil
has moisturising properties that are very similar to the natural oils (sebum) produced by the skin. It also has amazing cleansing properties. Extracted from the seeds of the jojoba plant, it has natural antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, hypoallergenic and anti-inflammatory properties.
Coconut Oil
is extracted from the kernel of matured coconuts harvested from the coconut palm. It is classed as a vegetable oil and contains a high percentage of saturated fat. It can help improve the skins barrier function and repair. With anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, not only is it an effective moisturiser but it also helps to fight the signs of skin aging.
Avocado Oil
is extracted from the pulp of avocados. It has a wide variety of uses. When used in cosmetics, it has skin regenerative and moisturising properties due to its very high skin penetration levels and rapid absorption rate.
Grapeseed Oil
is a vegetable oil derived from the seeds of grapes. A by-product of the wine making industry, it is high in fatty acids and vitamin E. Due to its rapid absorption rate it does not leave the skin feeling oily.
Natural Vitamin E
is extracted from vegetable oils. It is a powerful antioxidant that may be effective at reducing UV damage to the skin. It can also help to nourish and protect the skin from damage caused by exposure to pollutants in the air.
Witch Hazel
is a plant with powerful medicinal properties which can be used in a variety of ways. It is widely known for its ability to reduce inflammation and soothe sensitive skin.
Essential Oils
are made from parts of plants – leaves, herbs, barks and rinds. In our products we use essential oils of the highest quality, however, we would strongly suggested you check out the essential oil is suitable to your personal circumstances. If you are unsure, you should seek medical advice before using our products. We recommend you do not use any of our products containing essential oils during pregnancy.
Colourants
we use cosmetic grade water soluble dye from one of the most reputable suppliers in the industry. The dyes have been tested extensively and will not stain the skin or the bath.
Decorations
If glitter is used it is biodegradable, other decorations if used are derived from sugar or soluble paper and will dissolve in the bath.
Fragrance oil
All fragrance oils used are cosmetic grade standard.
We never test our products on animals and ensure we only use suppliers with the same strict policy.
